Sign up for ByteNite

To join ByteNite, simply navigate to the Computing Platform and follow the steps. Our platform employs a passwordless authentication system, enhancing overall security.

  1. Navigate to the Signup Page
    Enter your email address and your name.

  1. Verify your email
    You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) code in your email inbox. Enter this OTP in the designated field on the ByteNite registration page to verify your email and complete the registration process.

Get your API key(s)

For programmatic access to our API, you'll need an API key linked to your account. You can have multiple keys, each tailored to specific integration needs:

  1. Access your profile
    After registering and logging in, click on your profile avatar located in the top right corner of the webpage.

  1. Create a new API key
    On your profile page, locate and click the 'New API Key' button or link.

  1. Configure your API key settings
    Provide a descriptive name for your API key, choose its validity duration, and enter a confirmation code sent to your email. After completing the necessary details, click the 'Generate API Key' button.

  1. Copy your API key
    Once generated, immediately copy your API key and securely store it. Treat your API key with the same security precautions as a password.

One-time API Key Access

Please note that for security reasons, your API key will only be visible and copyable right after you've generated it. Be sure to copy and securely store it immediately.

  1. Managing your API keys
    If you suspect a key is compromised or no longer needed, return to the API section in your profile. Find the key and click 'Revoke' to invalidate it.
